Help Labels under apps are misspelled

Somewhat new nexus owner, I am stock on 4.0.2 with verizon, using nova launcher. I recently noticed that the labels under my apps are misspelled, and have some extra characters. Has anyone had similar issues? If so was there a resolution, or soes anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

If you long press on the app, a box will come up letting you either delete or edit said app. Click on Edit and you'll be able to rename it to whatever you'd like.

I've had this happen several times, and restarting Nova seemed to fix it each time.
