Help lag after gingerbread update

has anyone noticed that the atrix has a noticeable lag after the upgrade to gingerbread?

it was working perfectly on froyo before i updated it to gb, now my phone is an endless source of frustration. go launcher and go contacts are no longer working; they are unresponsive most of the time. my contact list has gone crazy.

can somebody here help me??! i'll gladly down it back to froyo or attempt any other solution just to get my "old" atrix back, i do love this phone!

I've actually noticed my Atrix run's faster on GB.
Perhaps it's Go Launcher / Go Contacts that's having issues. Have you tried clearing data on those 2 apps? If that does not help, clear data, then uninstall and reinstall.

It does not help to uninstall without clearing data first.

I use Launcher Pro. The only time I get any kind of Lag is when I launch a really graphics intensive app (Usually a game, like "let's bowl deluxe").

No problems here either of any note (except the LED has stopped working) phone runs well with Go Launcher and is benchmarking slightly higher than before
