Right now my phone is REALLY laggy and very hot (114f atm) from doing nothing. Ive tryed stopping apps and rebooting and still nothing. Does anyone know what might be doing this?

It has to be consuming battery. Check your battery manager.

Yeah I was in panic mode and maybe posted too soon, found something called media that was ravaging my battery for some reason (no music or movies on my phone at all) even after restarts.

Laggy and heat can also be results from overclocking.
Or leaving your X in the 100 degree sun on a boat. I hit 140C this weekend. I left my X connected to speakers blaring Pandora while we were in the water. Oops.
I am surprised it survived.
