Lag when selecting contacts

So I didn't pay much attention to it before so I'm not sure if it has been this way since day one.

I am running everything stock...

So whe I tap "people" and get the list of contacts..

Whenever I actully tap a name. I get about a 2 second lag each time for the info about the person to show up... It didn't bother me at first but is getting quite annoying now. Because sometimes I end up tapping twice and eventually it ends up calling a number, when all I wanted to do was send an email...

Does anyone experience this? Or is it instantaneous?

I don't get a 2 second lag, but there is lag...do you have a lot of people in your contact list? I'd say my lag is about half a second.

I have a 2 second lag as well.

Non-Rooted Evo, Running Launcher Pro (Happens in either thou), HW Ver #0002

I have roughly 60 contacts, most of which have Cell#s, Home Phone#s, Emails, important dates, addresses.

So im not sure if its all that information that is bogging it down or if its a system issue but its nothing that i cant live with.

Annoying for sure but oh well, ill take a 2 second lag when pulling up the contact menu over the issue of holding it incorrectly and dropping calls anyday!

It's the same here. I mainly just use the favorites widget and it takes forever to pull up the contact or call the person.

I have around 350 contacts (62 with pictures), and it takes about a second to view
the contact's information. I don't have facebook contact sync enabled, because
they're having problems with that. Maybe that could be an issue ?

58 out of my 60 contacts have pics attached. And 49 out of those 60 are Google Link's. No FB sync enabled either. Its the same lag for any combination of the above settings.

So Not sure what it is...

I may just do a factory reset and re sync my contacts with fresh phone and see if there is a lag.

The only thing I can see is that you use Google's address book, and the phone's address book. I use Exchange for all my contacts. I don't have any contact information in the "google" address book, or the "phone" address book. Maybe it's slower reading multiple phone books?
