Lagaxy Note 3 frustration

I can safely confirm that I don't have a faulty unit either, I spoke to some reps from my provider and samsung and they said this is normal for all phones.

Really?! I can't believe they told you 'this is normal for all phones'. What rot. Samsung are hopeless at customer service and just don't want to deal with a faulty device. Reps also will not want you returning an expensive phone.

Anyway, personally, I think you have a faulty device, well, needs a software fix certainly.

I would try clearing the cache partition. Also, boot up into safe mode and use like that for a day or so, see if the lag goes; it it does, you have an app etc that is mucking about with your system.

The only lag I have is when I open the stock Samdung e-mail client. If I leave it open after that, no lag. No lag with Chrome, or any other app on the phone. However, that said, YMMV according to what you have loaded and running on your phone.

If aanyones Note is slow, there is something wrong, I am telling you. My thing has always been if it is not working get rid of it. But to me with the Note, if there is a issue something is not right be it a setting or the phone. In the end it is up to you. Mine hVe been awsome then agin thats me.

Talk abourt a bad spell check? I fell on the ice? You people in the south I hate you.....lol:D. I have been 1 year up here from the south. BarBarque you, alllllll know what I mean:D

If mine were lagging that badly, I'd do a factory reset. If that didn't take care of it, return it for a new one. There's no way it should be lagging that badly.....

This lagging issues seems to be popping up more often????
Would be nice to put together any common denominators. Provider, bloat ware, production dates, model #'s etc.
Maybe a bad batch has been produced.

Does it start locking up? Or does it just get slow? Is it on mobile data or wifi? Has there been any common times when it seems to happen? How about calling? There are so many features that use motion and the face camera to adjust the phones reaction to your actions. A reset is also a good option. Just looking for I guess a little more specific information if you can? Like I mentioned a cellphone to me is personal are you stll within the return period? Look at me my phones are a Note 3 and a S4 mini talk about opposite:rolleyes:. Last option exchange it you need to be happy.

You know I just commented on another post. When you talk Nexus be careful many are built by Samsung (IE Nexus 4 if I'm not mistaken) I have had Note2, Note3 and a s4 mini and liked them all.

3 were made by Samsung (Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, 1st Gen Nexus 10)
2 were made by Asus (1st and 2nd Gen Nexus 7)
2 were made by LG (Nexus 4, Nexus 5)
1 was made by HTC (Nexus One)
1 was made by Google itself (Nexus Q)

Sorry, I stand corrected. Many are going to flame me for this:eek: but, I always seem to confuse LG and Samsung. Which by the way I fell are both good products:D So I stand corrected on my earlier comment.

I had this problem on my Droid 2, switched to NBPo and it went away. I suddenly started having the same problem on my Galaxy S5. I closed the browser, restarted the phone, and like magic, the lag was gone. I tend to leave the browser running in the background and I think the cache just keeps growing.
