Help Large logcat files

I am running stock. While deleting alog files I noticed that I have two large logcat files in the same data directory. They are logcat_1.log and logcat_2.log. Together they are almost 30MB in size. I assume these are some type of log file. Can someone tell me what these files are and why they are so big? Is this normal? Can I safely delete these files?

Now there is a logcat_0.txt that is 15mb.

bug in stock rom.

move to CM7 you will be a lot happier.

or possibly a 2.2 rom, im sure the 3rd party ones by mobstergunz have that bug fixed.
