Large screen, but pocketable.

Honestly I would rather prefer something in a 4.3" screen size. I'm 6'4" with large hands and the Droid X gives me a perfect fit, but since none of those offer the same specs, the Atrix it is.

Considering my first phone was a Motorola microTAC, size shouldn't matter. Buuuut, thin flip phones spoiled us for pocketability.

Agreed. I'm 6'6" and have matching hands... four inch screens are totally usable (I have a captivate and it does the job) but a little bit more screen space would make a huge difference.

If I could have the new samsung phone (with 4.5" screen), the Atrix's hardware, and the bionic's camera, that would be my dream phone. But I'm definitely going to be happy with the Atrix :)

Funny I think everyone has forgotten about that phone.

I know a few people that have one. It's a pretty slick phone. I really think Dell and At&t dropped the ball on that one though. It's fairly pocketable, unless you're into those stupid looking skinny pants.

I was all drool when I first read about the 4.5" screen and then my high was killed when I found out it was a Samsung phone.

My Dream phone

Atrix's hardware
Infuse 4G's 4.5" screen
Inspire 4G's form factor
Bionic's Camera

Now that's a beastly phone

I just used the phone compare tool on PhoneArena. They don't have the Samsung Infusions dimensions yet or I would have put that one up too.
I just know it looks about the size of the Droid X.

Where does it compare sizes. I checked out the Phone Compare tool but couldn't find anything that showed the phones sizes side by side.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Have to go to a phones page and then choose "Size It"

Yeah, that about does it for me too. I have the Captivate and wish for just a little bigger screen. I SO wish the Atrix was 4.3". I guess I'm just going to wait until the HTC and Atrix both are out and then make a decision from there. I've never owned an HTC phone but would sure like to. The Motorola hardware is so awesome though. ugh

A lot of people like HTC phones and their Sense UI. The ONLY thing I like about Sense is the weather clock - which you can get a clone of in the Android market.

A lot of people don't like Motoblur because you have to make a Motoblur account to even use the phone. I don't mind. It's a lot less intrusive than Sense UI.

Yes although the sense 2.0 adds some real nice features

Just not a fan of the Contacts List or any of the Sense widgets. Also the font(s) are way too small on Sense applications.
