Help Larger text on Galaxy Europa???

I'm new to all this, and first ever android phone. My question is...can i make the font larger [can't read my sms] on SAMSUNG GALAXY EUROPA?.

Im pretty sure you cant on default messaging but if use something like Handcent App which is free, its fully customisable, I use it and so do alot of others.
