last battery attempt before swapping EVO

OK making my last attempt for battery life before I go to radio shack to attempt to swap my phone out.

I downloaded the stock rom, installed it, formatted the sdk card through android, downloaded the update, disabled google voice and background data...

Now that I'm starting fresh, I will see if maybe there was a problem with the stock OS.... I'll report back later tonight on how the battery lasted...

just an update.. no change.even after a full restore from the rom and doing all the tricks from the start.. it still drops just as fast.. unfortunately sprint has evo's but won't swap "until [they[ get a steady stock" and radio shack doesn't have any yet

How many hours are you getting on your Evo?

with VERY light usage anywhere from 6 to 8... today after I redid the phone, I made a phone call sent 2 texts watched a 5 minute youtube video to test HDMI (only 2 minutes of it over the TV) and went to about 3 websites ...

display's been on for a total of 22m 52s..

53m 8s since unplugged (assuming from HDMI) because I've been off the charger now for 2 hours and 30 min

Android System 26%
Cell Standby 22% (with full bars)
Wi-Fi 21% (only been on for about 20 min)
Display 16%
Phone idle 11%
Mediaserver 4% (probably from youtube)

all background apps disabled
autosync disabled
gps disabled
and most of the time background data was disabled
and i'm at 70%

thats 30% in 2.5 hours
