Last of the originals?

It handles like the DX. Same size basically. Another family member is trying the SIII. I may still opt for it in.....13 days and counting down.

Forget it. Jelly Bean update screwed the phone up. Speed dial no longer works. Voice input does not work AT ALL! If you hit the microphone in Navigation, Navigation just shuts off. Voice to text says "Getting Ready" and never comes up. This was a good phone. And we all know how long it takes Motorola to bring out a fix. Gonna try the S3 and .....am I even saying this....maybe an i-Phone. Really getting tired of Android sending out "new" OS's that just screw things up. And no I'm not rooting and trying out ROMs. Don't have the patience for that stuff any longer. Just want a phone that works.

I'm with you on that. I resisted with all the updates coming out on the Bionic Gingerbread every two months. When we went to ICS we ALL did a Factory Data Reset. It was equivalent to going form Windows XP to Windows 7. The number of reported problems community wide was almost zero.

Automatic re downloading of all apps from Play Store (still a stupid name) is what I did. The other five apps I use I installed from backup.

Loss of customization is a hassle ... and a blessing. You are motivated to tweak it a little when you put it back.

Wow, that was painless!! Truly unbelievable!! My downloaded apps and everything re-downloaded after the Factory Reset. I am truly in awe. I take it all back!! :) :)
