So I read the thread behind your sig and it makes sense people wouldn't know the difference... it's how you can get hella cheap fully functional psps. all you need is a pandora battery a magic memory stick and a soft bricked psp (it will turn on as in green led but lcd is black) and boot into recovery and wipe it and install a new firmware whether is be custom or official.

Yeah lol, I have a Pandora battery I made and I keep in case any idiot ever bricks his PSP and doesn't have the battery.....there are ways to get custom firmware on it without battery. I don't own a PSP though![]()
I actually still have my hard modded one... although it isn't exactly in working condition... I can make a soft mod one though If I want since I have a psp with custom firmware. Way outdated, but good firmware
Haha I still have the Pandora battery I made myself![]()
I also used to have like 3 or 4 psps... not all of them worked though... I sold all of my psp stuff and NDS stuff for like $40 on ebay. I didn't feel like trying to make more. I have a psp1000 now though. Which are awesome since they have an IR port
now there are ways... back when I was modding psps there weren't... What's the difference between a soft modded Pandora battery and hard modded one?![]()
Lol never had the fat one but I heard they're nice . I used to play naruto with a friend in class and I was known in high skwl for hacking psps haha I'd charge them $10 to hack them. Like the joker said: "if you're good at something, never do it for free"![]()

A hard (hardware) modded battery you had to actually take apart and break the contact between one of the legs on the micro chip inside. A soft (software) modded battery gets the info written to the chip so you don't need to break the contact on the leg of the chip.

Then I did a hard mod xD how do you make a soft mod? That sounds extremely hard to do.....unless you already have the equipment to "flash a battery"......batteries have firmware???![]()

Lol. I usually do things for people for free... I've modded my friends psps and that's about it anyways. Good thing the 1000 battery worked in both the 1000 and 2000 models
And I like the 1000 better than the 2000/ 3000 because it has better build quality IMO, it may have less ram (32mb compared to 64mb in the 2000 and 3000) but you don't ever notice it...
So you would use custom firmware to make a soft mod Pandora battery? I never knew this :headbang:
What's the word for that image?
I had a hard modded one too lol. Yeah the first one was tough. It felt better in your hands too. My brother still has his PSP lol now that I look at the resolution of the PSP and my phone I'm like wow big difference and back then I was impressed with the resolution of the psp compared to the Nintendo ds.
. What's the res on the 1000 like 480 by 800? lol I think it's less... I need to look it up...

yes. and it's :banghead:
