Root lastest rooting info/links

Update: Completed this about 10 min after posting. Incredibly easy! If you can access this forum and can read, you can root and use SC. Give it a go UNC.
 
I've managed to install "Super Clean version 2.9 - EB01/EB16 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmodwith MALWARE protection".

So now should I install Voodoo?

And that'll be it?
 
no still have not, seems very straight forward now that ive asked lots of question but wife had asked me not to and did want to lie (fascinate was a christmas gift)so now just wanting to see upside of doing it so i could discuss with her. How do you like phone now and any problems also did you put SC 2.9.1 on?
 
I had to flash the Super Clean 2.9 four times before it completed successfully.

The first three attempts hung part-way through.
 
During the loading of factoryfs.rfs, the status line stopped moving, and my Fascinate's screen turned all one color (blue or purple). I had to disconnect the USB cable and start again.
 
It is markedly faster than before and everything seems to work fine. I am very happy to be able to use google search now and get rid of all the boat. It is pretty damn hard to mess up if you follow the instructions. :)

2.9.1 patch (Requires 2.9, DO NOT FLASH IF YOU WANT TO KEEP LOCKSCREEN MUSIC CONTROLS!!!)

ok cool as i have not rooted yet, i dont know how to use cwm as of yet any good links or advice on this(hope this thread also helps someone else like myself).

Sorry for what may be a stupid question, but I am new to Rooting - so I installed Debloated/Deodexed Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod

I did not do a data wipe before and did nothing after installing it (no vodoo or clockwork). My phone is running great - do I need to do anything else?
 
Yes, I applied the package through ODIN - that makes me feel better, thank you! Is there a way to tell if I have Vodoo or Clockwork?
 
If you want Voodoo on your phone use the latest EC10 kernel:
[KERNEL][3.21.2011]EC10 Kernels - xda-developers

It works great on my phone and I'm running SC.

First put it on your SD, and you should already have clockwork on your phone. To get there hold down the volume up and volume down buttons plus the power button at the same time until you see the samsung logo. Apply the update.zip file with the back key and flash the Voodoo kernel.

If everything went right you'll hear a robotic voice counting down the time until your phone restarts.
