Anyone got it yet? Aparently it lets you use Cover Feed as a live wallpaper without using Fb Home :thumbup:
Ill give it a try when its available to me
 
Yeah same. I rebooted to see if it would trigger it. When i tried Facebook Home, i did like the visuals, it looked cool but i wasnt willing to use the whole launcher. Having it as a live wallpaper could be a winner for me. Hopefully it has a "daydream" function :)

Be aware peeps that its only gona be compatible with the devices compatible with Fb Home launcher :thumbdown:
 
facebook has had its 15-months of fame. Now it can go the way of Wrangler jeans, myspace, the guy who did Gangneim Style and the guy who played Luke Skywalker

I've downloaded the update. Back when Facebook Home was first introduced and I tried it, this was really the only part of it I liked. So I'm happy to have this. However, I also like having shortcuts to my most used apps on the lockscreen, which doesn't seem possible with this. Oh well, I guess I have to make a choice.

edit: turns out, there are a few seconds before the facebook home screen kicks in, so I can still access my shortcuts.
 
So is this you using it as a live wallpaper with your existing launcher?
I dont use a lockscreen.
If your on android 4.2.. does the lwp include a Daydream?

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood (just got up not too long ago, not wearing my glasses yet and haven't finished my coffee. Think that's enough excuses?)

It's working as my lockscreen - I don't see a way to make it a wallpaper.
I'm using Nova Launcher though, not TW, so maybe there's a way to do it on TW.

And being on AT&T, I'm only on 4.1.2.

I think Mark Hammill did pretty well for himself compared to his other co-stars, if i'm not mistaken he is the voice actor for the Joker in the various DC animated series.
 
Thanks pal. When did u get the fb update? The article i read didnt make it clear how to use it as a live wallpaper tbh, i thought it would just be the same as using any other LWP

I got the update today, but I'm also a facebook mobile beta tester, so it might only be available to beta testers at the moment.
 
Is it there when you try to add a live wallpaper in the normal way bro? Pm me the apk if u can :beer:
Ill try n find the article i read but it was kinda vague. remember though, only the phones that are capable of using FB Home can use the LWP feature :thumbup:
