Help Latest OTA = 'App Association' killed my work day.

The issue:
No longer able to jump on the Internet app. Click a podcast link (Dan Patrick show). Then CHOOSING to download stream, rather than opening into the biggest Fail app----> streaming player.

Issue: When I accidentally touch an ad on a free app. Now my browser of choice DolphinHD opens. Whereas previously I was PROMPTED which browser and I could simply press Back. Now I'm faced with killing the tab w/o killing others I left open on PURPOSE. The former is interrupted, the later is full blown interruption.


I understand the added feature. App Association. Less prompts sure. Simpler way to reconfigure your defaults if you accidentally checked 'dont ask'. Ok that's fine.



But what if you are someone like me that really looks forward to a choice on-the-fly?



Can I get a Download option next to my Streaming Player default? I really enjoy listening to DPShow with the Music app thru my BT with my phone doing anything besides running full display with a stupid audio streaming icon.

And FFS. It's a touch screen smartphone. I'm human capable of mistakes, with large hands.

Can I please have the phone double check with me before it throws open a browser?


I know its a rant... I'm sorry. But hopefully there is a fix some how. I just hope it does not involve downloading a podcast app that might work as seamless as Music/BT A2DP. Or going to forum school on how to root.

Don't know much about the latest OTA as I am rooted but.
Can you go into settings/applications/manage apps and find Dolphin browser, click on it and scroll down to "clear defaults"?
