Root Latest rooting solution?

Has there been any news on a one click solution for rooting the DHD? I mean for the latest update, All the guides I have read mention downgrades before you even think about rooting and i'd prefer a quicker solution.

Obviously all the people involved with hacking do a great job, I am just disappointed with HTC's arrogance in telling me what I can do with MY phone, it's as if they have retained ownership or something. Get rid of that horrible Sense bloatware for a start. Anyway, rant over, back to the original question

The AAHK Downgraded my DHD from sense 3 to 2.1 after the first time I used it and had to run it again to then root my phone

There's none yet unfortunately, you need to downgrade first in order to do it.

You can unlock your own bootloader on HTC-Dev now though.

Thanks, I will take a look at in the morning, when my head is a little less tired and hazy. I had it rooted before, but crazy me locked it all up again for security reasons

Yeah, fair play to them. They've made the tool available to most of their Android devices now.

But still not unlocked. I have tried using the tools as directed, but still I cannot get the identifier token. Whether I try it on MacOSX (using instructions on XDA Developeror Windows (via VMWare Fusion) , I always get Command Error when I try the final step of getting the identifier token

Anyone know where I am going wrong?
