Latest rumors on here... questionable

Some of the rumors on here are probably reliable but others appear to be people just making stuff up. Maybe CS reps are playing with people too. I don't understand why Verizon can't either announce a firm date or predict a likely release date. This game of leaking information (like Cellbrite garbage; who cares?) is very annoying. We're being treated like pawns in a giant marketing game. RIM pulls this crap too by leaking pre-release device photos and then leaking videos, etc. I wish these companies were more honest with customers. In any event, be careful which rumors you choose to believe.

I think people don't understand that this whole forum is based on rumors. There has been little to no official info out. You're coming here for info and rumors....so you're going to get rumors because there's so little official info.

Besides, if a rumor is "questionable" it would be a fact.

Verizon has never (in my knowledge) confirmed a phone's existence until 2-3 weeks prior to release (if that). Look at Droid and Droid Eris and how people were more or less blindsided in terms of actual release and the like. It's just not how they roll. If you like knowing what phone you're getting months in advance, move to Sprint.

You NEVER predict a date otherwise you're held to it and you represent the company. So that's a pretty good way to get punished.
