Root Latest WiMAX radio

That is the latest. There have only been the two unless the very newest ota added a wimax update but I don't think it did. I can't vouch for quality as I have no wi-max here :(
 
I supposedly have WiMax (with a "good" connection based on Sprint's site) in my neighborhood, but the radio doesn't find it. I am also interested in knowing if there are other radio options.

If the radio can't solve it, then you have bad service in your area, buddy. Their wimax coverage map is totally inaccurate, I had a "good" connection yet wimax is completely absent. :mad:
 
ive used open signal from the playstore that will get results of your areas & carriers coverage based on how many people in your area are useing open signal that then transmits some data too them if u allow that they can see whos getting the best coverage & service from what carrier , it also allows u too do a network reset too refresh your phones connection too a strongest tower it can find based on gps location, if ur on a rom thats jelly bean ive read by turning on & off airplane mode does the same thing

it also has a 3g speedtest that is more reliable as far as results go i think then speedtest.nets app in the playstore that hasnt been updated since last year

That's what I was afraid of...damn. Oh well, it's hard to complain when the phone bill is $25.

With the Evo? The system won't allow you to attach the phone on a grandfathered plan. I tried really hard to keep my plan after the Triumph but it was impossible. :mad:
