Launcher issues

Whenever i run Apex, Nova etc., i have issues with my phone saying that the Sim card has been removed so it restarts. Since this issue i have gone back to TouchWiz, and have not had anymore issues.
What do you think could be causing this?

Sounds like a bad Sim to me I have run Nova and smart launcher with no issues.

The only time I don't run Nova on my N3 is when I'm running the S5 launcher, and I've never had a SIM problem. It's weird, because a bad SIM should be bad regardless of the launcher (the launcher has nothing to do with the SIM) and if it was a hardware problem with the SIM socket it also wouldn't depend on the launcher. Bring it to the nearest repair facility for your carrier or, if in the US, to a Best Buy (and talk to the Samsung people, not the Best Buy people - they're in the cellphone department somewhere, just ask a Best Buy droid where the Samsung table is.)
