Help Launcher Pro Onetouch Dial

Is there a way to use the moto onetouch dial with Launcher Pro... I know i can not resize it but I am looking for a way to set a few favorite people so I can one touch dial... There might be an app for it as well... I know the paid version of Launcher Pro has the fav people widget...

What is everyone using??:confused:
 
Long press spot on homescreen

Click Shortcut

Click Direct Dial

Pick contact

Pick which number

Bam....... quick dial


The Launcher widget is a 2 touch dial. Click contact and it gives you options to call, message, see contact, email, or IM (when available)

I used the direct dial method to put some in my dock.....

Buy the Plus..... it is super cheap at $2.99!
 
When you long press screen under shortcuts?

I am on Incredible not X (I am following this forum a little as I might end up with the X), but I had assumed they would be same for Launcher since HTC widgets dont work with Launcher.

I am also Launcher Pro Plus, so maybe it is a Plus feature.

I've got Plus also and it isn't there.
 
I've been looking for the same thing and so far have not found it. It was there in the original droid, so I think it may be something motorola took out.
This is the only reason I'm using the stock moto launcher instead of launcher pro plus or any other launcher.

No, most of the Motorola widgets don't work with Launcher Pro yet. He's supposedly working on the resizing problem. And the LP+ "People" widget brings up the person's complete contact info page.

It's not pretty, but the free Market app called "Contact Widget" will do what you want.

Why dont you try BetterCut, Long Press, Shortcuts, BetterCut, Direct Dial. This is what I do to create small direct dial icons. You can also add them to the dock in Launcher Pro.

Yeah i found that one the other day... I am using it but you are right its not pretty.... :mad::(:(

Call me cheap but I don't like paying for apps unless i have to... Is that direct dial part of BetterCut... I thought BetterCut was just an app to create shortcuts because I cant find direct dial on my phone.. Then again it may be me I a noob at this but I learn fast:cool::cool:
