Launcher pro shortcuts

Been messing around with my Desire trying to get a nice set up, but having trouble with the LP shortcuts. Want to link a dock shortcut to a screen....

Can anyone help?

I guess the posibilities for this are endless - what shortcuts have you got set up and how did you do it?

Do you mean change the stock shortcuts that come with LP as standard?
If so, long press the shortcuts you want to change and you get a change shortcut/ change icon options, choose shortcut, then application, pick your new shortcut from the list. You then get the change icon option, to LP icon or custom.

I've got 3 scrolling docks with, internet, call, market, messaging, google tracks, goole skymap, goole maps, gallery, settings, camera, Opera and football scores.

Have you checked the "show us your homescreens" thread? pinched most of mine from there

Show us your homescreen is what started the problem! After reading that thread I began to tinker, LOL. I understand what you have explained above and have got custom icons on my dock... games, tools, home etc. What I would like to do is link these shortcuts to a homescreen so that it takes me directly to my desired screen. After which I will set a gesture action for each.

You want to set a gesture action on each shortcut which will then take you to a different homescreen, depending on which shortcut you swipe?

I dont think that is possible?

Just pinch the screen and you can pick any screen you want.

Sort of... I want to be able to press the shortcut to take me to a particular screen rather than pinch, swipe will be set to do something associated with that home screen. Someone spoke of having a dock that controlled music player on another thread but is still trying to work out how to do it.

Perhaps look at the shortcut "Activities" and then expand under the music app for application related activites?
