Help Launcher pro

Can someone briefly tell me what they use launcher pro for and why its better than touchwiz.

I can see a few benefits. Like viewing the apps better. Adding shortcuts at bottom scrollbar.

when i had an Evo, i used it because i had what's called a Senseless ROM installed which didn't have HTC's Sense UI overlay (similar to TouchWiz).
i liked the Senseless ROMs previously because i just didn't like Sense. i actually love TouchWiz 4.0

it's all personal preference in the end

yeah, im struggling to find massive benefits for it, a lot of people seem to rave about it like its the best thing since slice bread!

Not knocking it, just wanna make sure im missing out on something!

LauncherPro can do some things that Touchwiz cannot:
1. Change ALL of the dockbar icons and their associated apps
2. Change the dockbar background to any custom background
3. Change the look and functionality of the app drawer (swype vertical, swype horizontal, etc.)
4. Assign swype gesture actions to each dockbar icon
5. Choose custom icon for each dockbar icon
6. Hide individual icons in the app drawer
7. Choose from several transitional effects and home screen looping
8. Set the number of icon columns and rows in the home screen
9. Have up to three docks that can be scrolled
10. Change home button action
11. Show/hide screen indicator
12. Hide icon labels
13. Enable/disable wallpaper scrolling
14. Change highlight color

I could go on but you get the idea :)
 
all laucher pro does is make phone layout more customisable adding animations to make the phone more attractive

having used multiple launchers they all make the phone layout prettier but the dont have the same functionality as touchwiz 4.0
 
May have already been said BUT the app drawer is bliss.

It's a 3D "up-and-down" app drawer but it just runs SOOO fluidly (on my HTC Desire) and it's just looks so nice...Haven't got LauncherPro yet (seeing as I currently really like TouchWiz) but LauncherPro's app srawer must look so good on the 4.3" goodness!

Damn right it does. I bought the launcher pro plus version like a year ago and i use it on every android i get. I haaate stock touchwiz n sense. Plus getting launcher pro n freezing all sammy touchwiz nonsense gives u more battery life. Im sure of that :D.
 
Can you change the look of the buttons at the bottom of the screen on the home screen on launcher pro, I don't like the look of them as they look very basic.
