Launcher recommendation and tip...

After trying a few launchers on the charge it seems like go launcher provides the smoothest running and quickest. Launcher pro has always been my favorite but has a bit of lag compared to go launcher.

Not to preach to the choir, but I have to remind you if you choose a different launcher than stock make sure you remove all widgets from your old launcher. They will run in the background even if you are on a different launcher. This will greatly improve performance and battery life. Home switcher is a great app to go back and forth between launchers to make sure you are set up. You can also set set your default launcher from this app. Again sorry if you already know this sorry for the preaching but I am hoping this can help somebody.

Thanks for the great tip about Touch Wiz, I really like Launcher Pro, tried Go Launcher, felt it had some lag, went back to Launcher Pro. To each their own, that is what makes Android great... You can customize!

I started with Launcher Pro and tried Go Launcher and stayed, I like both but found that Go Launcher had more flexibility and customizaton.
