LauncherPro and Notification Icons...Help

I have LauncherPro set up with my Gmail and Email (Active Exchange) Icons in the dock. The Gmail icon is set to show the # of unread emails...which is does fine. I have tried a few icons for the Email and once it shows 1 unread email, it nevers goes away. It always says 1.

Any input on this?

It sounds like it isn't refreshing but Im just guessing.
