ill get a review once I get the battery in use

I have that battery, currently get:
* a full day on heavy use (playing games all day)
* ~2-3 days of moderate use (occasional game, web browsing, email, texting, the rare phone call) - this is my typical
* ~4-5 days of standby (leave it alone without touching)

for reference, I am currently at 2d4h28m with 39% battery left and a screen on time of 2h18m

Pretty much the same here ;)

Put it in your phone and use it until the battery is completely dead when you first get it. Once it dies plug it in and let it charge for 6-8 hours (overnight works) without touching it. You now have a calibrated battery.

For maintaining the calibration try to only plug it in when the battery gets low (<20%) and let it charge until the battery is mostly full (>90%).

Lets see how far itll go without heavy data use...
I just went 2 days and 13 hours and my phone was still at 18% before I plugged it in to recharge to the weekend... I should have taken a screen shot. I could get way more life if I put my phone on Airplane mode while I'm not using it (or can't use it like when I'm at work).
It's pretty much what clc130 said in his post.

what case are you guys using? i bought the defender from otterbox and want to upgrade the battery but am unsure as to if the case would still fit

I'm just using the extended battery cover...its not noticeable after awhile..but you could buy a tpu case and cut the back to go around the "hump"..I would try that but ive spent too much $$

The otterbox defender will definitely not work with an extended battery. I don't think any cases work, unless you cut the back out (like rotor mentioned), but I'm not sure that's a good idea. Amazon has a tpu case that will fit for like $10, but it's pretty cheap feeling and probably would only protect your phone against minor scuffs and scratches. I usually take pretty good care of my phone, so I'm fine with just a screen protector, but it's definitely something to consider.
