New to Android and trying to learn
I would really like to learn how (and what's happening). I've downloaded & setup adb like shown in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6K1XLmafPc&feature=player_embedded#at=15 . Instead of cutting the platform tools and merging them into the tools directory I highlighted and coppied them there (I thought being both places I couldn'T go wrong...right?).
Well I can launch the command window, change directory to the tools, verified that adb was there and everything is hunky dorry. I then put my TB in USB debug mode and attached it to my cable. It recognizes that it is attached and asks me if I want to install drivers or open folder to file view.
Dumb questions follow now
. I assume I need to install the drivers but I'm not sure
I just dismissed it the first go-around and attempted to use the cmd adb devices but doing this return a blank list then returns to the command prompt.
Do I need to re-attach the usb cable and install drivers (VZ install drivers publisher not specified) or am I missing something else.
