So I say my good byes u all were a great community and I enjoyed.working with u I take my leave back to ios with IP 4s I will try to continue my port for miui but no grauntes on it thank u all and bye

lol ^^^ my previous phone was an iphone 4, i switched to the prevail and i've got to say im glad i did. im no longer under apple's spell haha.

Yes I welcome the leavening or rising of Android too. Glad I am not stuck with carrierIQ and didn't "upgrade" to the iphone50 or whatever iteration they are on.

If my job didn't give the choices they do now I would be stuck with the iphone thankfully they opened it up to a choice of any carrier that gives an unlimited service and I jumped ship as soon as their current contract was up.

Now thanks to great designers here I get tons of compliments on how fast and responsive my phone is by all of the others that stuck with their same carrier and phone.


On a serious note sad to see you leave and hope you are happy with your new phone.

Sorry to see you go. You sound like a very intelligent, educated, experienced and informed dude. Just the kind we need on this forum to go with the gurus we already have

Sounds like you have some pretty interesting and exciting ideas on Kernel development that was shaking things up a bit as far as conventional wisdom.

Hell, I did not understand a word if it, but it sure sounded impressive.

Have fun with the iphone. When you get bored, come back to the Prevail and shake some more shit up. It is good for everybody to think outside the box.

I can't figure out how to open the box, so I have no other choice.

On a side note I'd like to let you know that CIQ has been around for quite some time. It is only now that people are aware of what it does and how to get rid of it and such.

How do I know? Well I got my hands on a Samsung Rant for Boost. I was looking through the EFS on the device and guess what I found? A folder marked CIQ on the device and a bunch of goodies inside the folder. What does it do? How sophisticated is it? I'm too much of a noob to try and figure out what it does etc. But I'll be happy to pull the whole folder and put it up for someone to comb through if anyone wants. It shouldn't be more than a few bytes tops.

Just to put things in perspective, the Rant has been in the market since late 2008.
