Help LED not working

I searched under LED and I did not find what I was looking for. If I missed it then I apologize for starting a new thread. My LED just decided to stop working for text messages today. It still flashes for email but nothing for texts. I have tried taking the battery out and same thing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes I tried shutting the phone and turning it back on. I also tried a battery pull. The LED works seems to work for everything but text messages. I just had a missed call and it was blinking.

You've got some conflict then perhaps between the stock LED flasher and perhaps a third partry app? Maybe remove all 3rd party ones, ensure the stock LED notification is set (checked) for sms/mms and then see.

Installed handscent sms and uninstalled so that's probably the issue. I suppose i will reinstall then uninstall it again.
