Help LED Notification for Gmail

how do I receive LED Notifications for Gmail? or can I? I have LED Notifications checked for Email but when I receive Gmail I dont get a notification LED flashing. or is that just for Email app and not the Gmail app?

Hey there pglenn, well if what you have going for you doesn't work you could try a work around app like Light Flow, which allows you to control the LED notifications and make colors for them.

well before adding another app, I'd prefer getting the built-in apps working. any ideas on why notfications arent working now for gmail? actually what happens I found is the LED flashes for about 5 minutes then stops. I'd need it to keep flashing until I check it
