LED notification not working after JB update

Just tried that and that didn't work either.

Went to AT&T and they said they couldn't do anything. I'm just going to call Samsung and probably get nowhere. This really is annoying.

Hey hey, I don't now if you're still having this problem. I had it too and it turned out to be the app Light Flow Lite that caused this problem. Once I went in to my application manager, stopped, emptied and deleted light flow lite my LED was working perfectly again.

hi all,
im revisiting this one :)
since being on aokp 4.2.2 roms im finding my led has intermittent issues - mainly with new sms - but also sometimes with charging light - most of time is ok - just happens now and then .....usually when waiting for important text! :D
cheers

Im on AOKP Mr1 and i cant for the life of me find how to turn off the low batttery/charging LED mate. Have you?
I wouldnt mind but it does it with the display ON! Other than that i adore the rom :)

hi FL :)

try lightflow app - that is what i use - pretty decent app - i gte the led issues with or without it running though - not often....but just enough to annoy :D

im running rootbox nightly 24/06 at moment - very nice - how do you like Halo? pretty cool imo

cheers
dan

Yeah ive used LF for nearly a year now but it doesnt over-ride the annoying charge light on AOKP :(
Havent tried Halo yet bro but i hear its cool. Id try paranoid android but i dont think theres a way yet to get wifi tethering working on it yet and i use that a lot

EDIT i mailed the Light Flow dev just for advice about the charging LED on AOKP and he got back in under an hour suggesting i check the "samsung root mode" box in LF settings and it worked like a charm. I can now over-ride it.
I know it sounds obvious but id always thought that setting was for the US s3 that wouldnt work properly without root.

Anyways big up to Andrew from Light Flow and yet another example of why everyone should buy it :beer:

I don't have light flow or any led notification app installed (i've tried, but those don't work either) and this problem is still driving me nuts.

The led lights will only work under two circumstances. If the phone is completely off and plugged in, the light works. It's red when it's charging and green when fully charged. It will also turn blue when the phone is powering off. That's it.

If the phone is on, the led notifications don't work since jb update from ice cream sandwich. It literally drives me nuts.

I have had the same problem since the first update. Notification light ONLY works when charging or you restart the phone. Its super annoying. Its NOT just 1 person like i have seen on a few sites. It has happened to quite a few people. I thought it would have been fixed with this last update but hasnt.
