Help LED notification time-out

visual notification of missed message times out after about 5 minutes; this is not user adjustable. after speaking with HTC and Verizon support, this was done intentionally to save power. given that Blackberry devices alert their users to messages without these time constraints, I think they may be the better choice for time-critical (i.e.-business) users. this phone is meant for the consumer, not for business

I think their reason for doing so is so stupid ..i prob waste more battery constantly unlocking and locking the phone to check to see if i have any emails.
