99% positive it will.
i wanna say i remember it being mentioned in a hands on preview by someone

i'm gonna go check, though. because i can't buy a phone without a notification light. i would either habitually check my phone very often, or i'd just miss a lot of calls/txt/email/etc

edit: too many vids. guess we'll have to wait for a review. we should see some start to roll in soon if it's launching the 20th

I did end up finding an app they had for the optimus 2x that will make the keys light up since there's no LED.

I don't know if there is or not...but some say yes and some say no. and I'm just trying to see cause I love the LED notifications

i'm assuming since it's exactly the same as the Optimus 2x sans software that it won't. i'll wait to for reviews for confirmation but it looks like i'll be waiting for the GalaxyS2 to hit T-Mo now

I've used that app for 24hrs. works flawlessly.

Unfortunately, it does not activate for the stock email client, nor k-9 mail. Working well otherwise. FWIW, my Nokia e72 has similar notification as the app. The battery will last 4-5 days of my normal use. However if the LED is flashing, run time gets cut to 1/3. If you run this app, look in to lowering the light's intensity, for both normal use, and notification.

Downloaded the notification app. Ran the test. And, it just keeps pulsing. Tried several settings but it just continues. Does anyone have any ideas on how to set this up correctly? Thanks all....

Yeah pretty weird it won't turn off for nothing. Tried every setting. Uninstalled and tried it again. Just keeps pulsing. Hahahaha

Just as you would in a Windows environment, with a file explorer program (I prefer EStrong's File Explorer), in the "downloads" folder, find the file, then long press on it. In the pop-up menu, select "rename"

Im in the same boat as caldon12. Keeps pulsating when the screen is in sleep mode. Tried reading the orginial thread, but there are nothing there.

I tried the test again. Still pulsing. As an alternative until we figure it out. I downloaded no-led from the market. Works just fine.

LG makes almost a perfect phone except this major flaw. I hate it not even knowing if the phone is charging. :/
