Help LED notifications while charging

Does anyone know if there is a way to make it so LED notifications will still happen even when charging?

I keep my TB plugged in while on my desk at work, and a blinking LED or something would be nice so I don't have to occasionally turn on my screen to see if there is anything.

I don't think so- it will just stay orange when it is charging .. would be nice if it would flash though because otherwise you can't tell without turning on the screen if there's a message or not.
