Accessories LED replacement?

I recently turned on my flashlight without knowing it, and it stayed on for too long and burned out my LEDs and melted the battery cover.

I can replace the battery cover for a few bucks, but the blown LEDs concern me. I would like to resell this phone in a few months, and the lack of a flash will knock a good bit off of the value.

Has anyone ever replaced their LEDs? Is there soldering involved, or is it as simple as unplugging and plugging? Any idea on where I can find the replacement LEDs?

The video on here might give you an idea how the leds are put on, but I don't see an option to buy them on this site unless they are included in the housing assembly.

It looks like this might come with the leds built in... or it might just be the lens...

Did you ever figure out how to replace the rear facing LEDs? I purchased a part from repairsuniverse.com after talking to a rep on their live chat, but when it arrived, it was the wrong part
