The first 4 words of your post are your answer. You probably broke something. (Please don't try to open the phone and find or fix the problem. You'll just break something else. It's cheaper to bring it to a repair shop before you have to pay them for a few hours of their time to determine what you broke before they can fix that so that they can fix the original problem.)
