there is no led light on the fascinate....check out noled in the market for onscreen notificaotns.....or if ur rooted and on 2.1 still...most kernels have backlight notifications built in to light up the soft keys

I use the 'No LED' app ... still works on DL30 but will NOT work if you disable the lock screen for any reason.
