Root LeeDroid v 2.4 not flashing

Just tried flashing Leedroid v 2.4 onto my htc desire (cdma on us cellular), and it aborted. I redownloaded the .zip and tried it again, same result. Do I have to be using one of the CDMA roms listed here (Desire Index - Everything Desire is here! [UPDATED: 11/4] [Finally! Some Statistics!] - Page 4 - xda-developers), or should I be able to use something like leedroid or insertcoin, etc?

you need CDMA specific roms if you have a CDMA model yes.

Thats good to know, thanks. My apologies for such a basic question, but I am new at this. In light of this, can anyone recommend a good CDMA based rom? Would something like this (Install Rooted Stock Android 2.2 FroYo ROM on HTC Desire CDMA) rooted stock 2.2 rom be a good choice?

sounds a good choice for your first rom, i can't help i'm afraid as i'm GSM myself.
