Root Let's get CM finished for the Force.

all mail for my building goes in my box, so i dont really gotta worry bout that one, its apartment 1 thats gotta worry. their catalogs sometimes go "missing" for a few days
 
Well that is very kind of you thank you, not sure really but i aim to find out. Ill just tear mine apart see what i can do. Maybe ill even tear apart an htc or something too see if i can rig in a better one
 
At the moment im catching up on some downloading, lte works in my house so i went from 30kb/s to 2mb/s... youll have to forgive me if i play with it for a little while before i start tearing things down and fixing them up. But i plan on startin in on cm tomorrow, ill run a build, tear the phone apart while its compiling, then see what i can get worked out on all fronts
 
Yea I thought so to. It's been like that since I had it. Sent it in for repair they supposedly fixed it but the sound never changed. Didn't do it until I turned srs on.
 
Just a horribly made speaker, i went to remove it and it came in half... i reassembled it putting a super thin piece of foam inside the coil. Sounds beautiful now... go figure huh? I fixed their design flaws in a few minutes with something i found laying around lol

So now that thanksgiving is over, what's the word? Any luck? And this is kind of off topic, but my 21st birthday is tonight. I can't wait to buy my self my first drink if the liquor stores still open when I get out of work!

Happy birthday, bro. Go to a bar, mention to the people sitting next to you that you're excited about your 21st birthday. They'll most likely buy your drinks. Happened to me, and everyone I know. Haha.
 
im running a new build as we speak with a possible fix. ive determined that the kernel module might be whats wrong with wifi, cant make a new module im aware of but im trying to disable version checking in the kernel itself, that way it will load anyhow

yea i read that and considered the poasibility. ill have to find the module_layout symbol and match it tho. the lcd module loads fine, qcrypto loads fine, wlan, not so much
