Its because its not a custom kernel. They can be added later on.Another thing is in performance, you can't change the i/o scheduler, nor is it possible to change the minimum cpu frequency.

Has anyone managed to get the rom flashed with TWRP because it won't let me. I assumed it was because the ROM did not contain a META-INF folder?

That's strange, it would'nt let let me, I tried many times. Anyway, just got it up and running, and installed Gapps on it. Anyone know if incoming calls work?Got it working just fine with twrp here

Do you have the correct APN selected? Maybe that could cause it?Right it's a little weird but when I call my phone from another one and CWM is installed, it just gives the static noise, as in the phone is not even being detected?

You'll have to excuse me if I didn't feel like searching through 48 pages of this thread for the ROM the reason I was asking was because I was going to try to help get some of the bugs worked out, I'm no Dev but I know a little something I've helped on a couple other devices in the past.
I'll try that. At the moment I only have regular earbuds, but I'll give it a go and see what happens.If I remember right from the herc days, plugging in a headset will get calls to answer. I'll look it up, but I think you just plug 'em in and take em out, anytime between boot-up and the first incoming call.
