Lets get the droid x's multitouch keyboard working on froyo

Anyone know how to get this to work? I really love this keyboard but i love froyo more... Help!

Heres a link to the .apk file, if you dont have it. It works with 2.1, but not 2.2 (force close every 5 seconds)

If someone could edit this to make it work thatd be amazing.

I can assure you there are developers working on this. I dont know when/if it will be available but posting this thread will not help anything. Most of the android developers realize that this is an important apk and would like it to work on froyo.
