hey marc, I made a new gif for you

I live in a well populated part of Florida....-_-

Until you are 18 I would suggest trying at grocery stores, fast food, you can go to any retail place and ask what age they hire at, if they say 16 or 17 then ask for an application. Without any experience you can't really be picky...I started as a bagger/cart pusher at a local grocery store when I was 16...worked my way up to front end supervisor in less than 3 years. Quit there when I could get a job with set hours.

Depends on the state...and store policy usually...in NC most retail places will hire starting at 16 but it is easier when you are 18 to get a job.

Here you have to be 18 to work in electronic retail places... (radioshack, cell phone places, etc.) You can be 16 to work at grocery stores and such though.

These rules are usually applied to a certain chain of stores, but are different in each state/company?

Why isn't the age for electronic stores the same everywhere? Or I'm sure it also has to do with preference....

It is specific to state labor laws...I could have quit working at the grocery store when I was 17 to work at a radioshack but chose not to due to pay differences...

I'm not sure, but I know that every electronic and video place that I called and asked them what their hiring age was they all said 18 and I called Radioshack, Hastings, All the cell phone shops. All of the like... I'm not sure if it differs by state or if each place gets to set their own rules about it... best way to find out is look up the number for a place you wanna work call them, ask for a manager, and ask if they are hiring/ the age you have to be to work there.

So my OEM charger broke thanks to my bro like 4-5 months ago and my generic charger just broke and I have no other way to charge it. I had a USB chord for a different type of device (those popular ones for generic MP3 players and such), I cut the outlet part off of the generic charger leaving the part of the chord that fits my phone....I cut the USB chord's part off that didn't fit my phone, connected red to red, black to black and now I have a charger that connects via USB to a AC to USB head or to my laptop USB port, but no data -_- the generic chord doesn't have data connectors :banghead:

You would have to cut all the cord off and actually get to the usb connector thing and solder 2 wires one to the data + and one to the data - which should be the middle 2...

I hate soldering, especially with wires, I prefer soldering bigger things like capacitors....

Would data - be on the left or right?
Or I'll just go and google image it...
