when you are adding the widget, look for "icon color" and "indicator color"' When you press "icon color" there is a check box to make the icons translucent when disabled. If you don't see this make sure you have the latest version

Good to hear I haven't gone vanilla yet...been waiting seems like they are all so buggy/something is always broken. Will be following xda. I want to try a vanilla soon just deliberating until they get the kinks worked out.

I'm all about simple layouts have fun customizing!

How did you replace the button on the right in widget locker? I know you can make new sliders but it never lets me edit the primary one...

In the settings under look and feel I chose no slider. Then long press to add a custom slider as a widget. When you add the widget you should have the option to change either slider.
