Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

So the whole picture (including wording) is modified?

Yes - like the Angry Birds is actually a 4x1 Desktop Visualizer 'widget' (see attached image)

I use Photoshop to create an image that fits the widget size I want to make...so the 4x1 widgets work best with an image that is 470x125

and I've also attached my wallpaper and Launcher Pro dock :)

As a Trekkie, I was wondering if anyone has an LCARS layout. Please post it if you do!

Mischka:

I've been working on it for a bit.

It's just Desktop Visualizer widgets (I'm nowhere near good enough to actually code a functioning theme).

Thanks so much, you rock for posting your images!!!! I am addicted to creating this stuff !

Thanks Paul,

Hey it's a start. Besides, I have no photoshopping skills at all so I'm totally useless.

Looking good so far Paul - if you want any help making icons let me know and I'll see what I can do

Don't mean to sound dumb, but how'd you skin/change the font of BattStatt and Clockr?...

Oh no worries at all, there's actually a couple ways to install fonts but the easiest way for me personally and the way I did it was install a zip in the Recovery console. You will need to be rooted, but I got the font from here. The font I used was Comfortaa and its under the 10/6 date in the 2nd post.

For those a little rusty and with root/Nandroid installed; copy the zip to your sd card, turn off the Incredible, boot into Recovery by holding down the Vol -/Power button for a few seconds, let it do an image check, choose Recovery, do a Backup, after it's completed choose 'Install zip from sdcard', locate the file, confirm the install, let it complete, hit power to go back a menu, reboot the phone and upon reboot viola!, new font! Keep it mind its changing your Android system font so web pages, settings windows, pretty much unless an App is using a built-in font, will utilize the new font.

Edit: Like I mentioned I highly recommend backing up beforehand. Personally I've had no problems/issues but thats not to say something could happen, so just putting that out there just in case.

Thanks. I pretty much have the LCARS icons finished (at least for the Incredible's resolution). I just need to make versions in all of the LCARS colors.

Since I'm not capable of programming a functional launcher, I'm thinking of making a live wallpaper with some Trek-type animated graphics that can be visible or hidden with the placement of icons.

We'll see how it works, though.

Here are my two latest lockscreens.
Just wanted to share and see what you guys think.

Nothing fancy here, just Widget Locker with a wallpaper from Zedge and the Motorola Froyo slider.

This one is also Widget Locker with:
Default Slider
Clock - Analog Clock (market)
Toggles - Extended Controls (1 x 4)

Love it! Like the 2nd one best both are clean and sharp :D

Okay... I'm at the same spot as you with the LCARS frames and colors. But, man, you surpassed me with the "widgets". Are the counters functional? And, if so, how did you do it? Did you write custom widget apps? And the alarm clock one... also functional?

Really looks good so far.

OK... first real attempt. The middle screen is my default homescreen. The text icons on the first screen with the thin white border launch "Folder Organizer" folders, the rest are just apps.

Thanks Paul - no the counters don't actually do anything - I just whipped up Desktop Visualizer widgets that fit the look - thought it would be cool if the sms/mms actually tallied the number of messages though :)

EDIT: 2nd Screen done
