Overall I'm happy with my Seidio extended battery case too, but I just wish... Well, it's my same old argument over the lack of a kickstand again.
But like yourself, I too share your enthusiasm over the duality of the durability and soft to the touch feel. Although because of the rubbery silicone substance, it does tend to be difficult getting in and out of my jeans pockets. Still, no major complaints on my end... save the missing kickstand.

I just got the Otterbox Defender for $25 from Amazon. I've only had it for a day but so far it feels very nice and I'm very comfortable in the protection in getting.

I'm getting extremely frustrated with OtterBox regarding the loose-fitting Commuter. It's been several months & they have not fixed the improperly fitting Revision-A of their Commuter case. Does anyone have any OtterBox Alternatives they could suggest? Additionally, has anyone tried Ballistic? Do they fit snugly & provide good protection?

The Seidio kickstand case is best on the market in my opinion.
It's a 2 piece case that slides onto the phone and locks in place. You have to press it a certain way to unlock it and get it off. It has raised edges so the screen and camera don't touch when you sit it down. I still used a martin fields camera protector though because it's so close to actually touching, plus it would get scratched in my pocket, and I already had a zagg on the front. Anyway, it fits snug, not loose at all. And it barely adds any bulk to the device- much smaller than the silicon case I was using previously. And it has a kickstand that works in both portrait and landscape modes. It does not cover the speaker or any of the buttons, and it has a hole for the mic.
I don't even like cases, but since I have to use one with this phone, this is about as good as it gets.

Thank you! I will check that out. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to eat the cost of the OtterBox Commuter. The representative informed me the new revision would be out within a reasonable amount of time, so I waited for it. Now I'm past the return period. ::sigh::
OtterBox really dropped the ball with the Commuter & also subsequently not releasing Revision-B. The moment they knew about this issue they should have stopped selling them until the new revision was perfected & released.
OtterBox's Customer Service is still amazing, unfortunately there isn't much they can do to help when the actual product itself has a defect. If not for the loose fitting rubberized piece I would highly recommend the Commuter & OtterBox as a company. Issues like these with OtterBox are almost unheard of.

Did you Document you conversation with the service rep. I sent Numerous e-mails and got no response...so I hit twitter complaining about their service....within a day I had 2 new commuter cases in the mail.
(sending me a pink one...YUCK....but the white rubber should look slick with the black outer case....

The representative has been extremely nice & helpful. The customer service at OtterBox is second to none! The problem is the Commuter & any subsequent replacement Commuters will still not fit properly. I can't say I would be upset if they sent me a free Pink Commuter for my Wife & Mother, but I don't feel deserving of such things. I don't mind paying for a high quality product. The Commuter for the Evo3D is an extreme exception to the quality of OtterBox products. They normally make "the perfect" case (in my opinion)

I love my Seidio Surface with the Kickstand it's great! I also love my Active case too but I have been using the kickstand case. I had dropped my case before when I had the 4G and the purple paint chipped off you could see black underneath. My phone fell out of my purse the other night when I picked up my purse and I thought it hit hard enough to mess something up but it was all fine. I didn't see a scratch on my case which the phone is the most I was worried about. It hit the ground with the screen but I also have a calrivue protector on there. But yes I have been buying only Seidio since the 4G EVO.
I like the Seido Case too, but I never liked little kickstands for my phone. It's sort of like the shoe/rollerblades, if you guys remember those.

Yeah the kickstand would be nice. I'd be tempted to replace this if they came out with one with a kickstand. They really could just replace the exoskeleton and put the kickstand on that.

I'm 100% certain I would change out the Seidio extended case skeleton for one with a kickstand. Even better if it was made of metal. I thought about buying a Body Glove case with a kickstand so that i can do a hybrid of the two. And if Seidio doesn't do something relatively soon, I may very well do just that.

Just in case anyone may still be interested in the Ballistic HC case here is the response I received when I asked for the latest eta. I waited this long so I probably still get it but i would think this would not sell nearly as well as it could of or should have by the time it does actually come out.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that they were too little too late. I'm sure there will be people buying the Ballistic, but they lost me because of that delay. Had the Ballistic come out much sooner, I very well may have ended up with with that case instead of my extended Seidio battery & case setup.

I just got a refund for my ill-fitting OtterBox & bought the Seidio Surface Kickstand case & I am THRILLED with it. It fits perfectly & the kickstand is great! Very disappointed I had to go with another brand besides Otter because I am very brand loyal to them, however the Seidio is really very nice & I am happy with it.

Yeah I love my Seidio Kickstand and my Seidio Active both great cases. I also love the car dock I just bought at the Sprint store my phone in case fits good on the dock. Oh and i have the seidio dock by my bed both docks work with the case on and put the phone in dock mode when docked.

Which Otterbox case did you have? I have the Defender and it fits fine. No issues here whatsoever.

I wish you had something like the Ballistic HC case or the Otterbox Defender.
Maybe its just me but I am hung up on the all in one solution and I thought the Ballistic would be a better option than the Otterbox. I like the idea of a built in screen protector and well as the holster clip.

Could you possibly drop any hints or list some of the changes, and/or additions to your upcoming product line.
One of the main things I've been harping on for some time now is whether the the extended case will get a kickstand. I've asked the question a little over two months ago, to which the reply was that it's been looked into. If you could shed some light on whether or not it'll actually be a reality, I (among a list of others extended case owners here and elsewhere) would greatly appreciate it.
