Root LeWa CM7 ROM for MicroMax A75

Here is the new Updated Lewa ROM for the Micromax A75. This is based up on the Lewa ROM of Lenovo A60 downloaded from LeWa website.

Please note that the latest version ROM is divided in to two packages. The ROM package (posted here) is having only basic features. The essential features are moved to new “Android Features Pack - (click here)” update package. The package can be reused for multiple installations and used with multiple ROMS and multiple android machines also.

The ROM package contains fonts only for Indian subcontinent users to reduce the download size. International users can use Features Pack update package to install required fonts and necessary applications.


Complete features of Version 3.0.0 Released February 03, 2013
1. LeWa Android (Version number: LeWa_ROM_A60_13.01.11
Updated: January 11, 2013).

2. Default UI language changed to English
3. Phone brand details are changed to Micromax A75
4. Other basic packages are included (latest A75 Stock baseband, camera fix, boot, logo)
5. build.prop optimizations are included
6. init.d scripts optimizations are included
7. V6 supercharger script and starter kit optimizations are included. Just invoke it and configure it as you like (fully configurable by user).
8. APN (access point names) list is updated so that your phone connects to Internet instantly after the installation.
9. Hosts file is updated to prevent ad-ware sites displaying unnecessary advertisements.
10. Domain name optimization is implemented to increase Internet speed.
11. Factory reset is included in install script and fully Kitchen compatible.

12. Built in Indic fonts.(Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu etc.)
13. Essential Google applications are included in package (Setup Wizard, Market updater, Synchronization, Talk etc)
14. LeWa launcher is replaced with ADW launcher.
15. Hacker keyboard with English dictionary for auto completion.

Caution
Factory reset is included in updater-script which formats all your phone data(call log phone contacts, messages etc). Your files in SD card (1st partition) area will not be affected.

You must use Google Sync and other Desktop Sync software before installing this version to preserve your contacts, call logs and messages. Please backup your contacts with Google Sync & Contacts. After the installation, your phone will be having following characteristics advantages,
  • 123 MB internal storage available to user applications/data and
  • 25 MB RAM available for applications; Use SuperCharger script to increase up to 67 MB

Must run SuperCharger script at-least once to increase the performance of A75 after the installation.   2. SD Card installation is enabled in package and Titanium backup is included as an user application.
  3. The intercept application which was included in A60 package is removed due to frequent crashing.
  4. Few files are included in install script and fully Kitchen compatible.
  5. AnTuTu benchmark after fresh install (without overclocking) is 3670 (160 points higher than version 1.0.0, screenshot is attached).

Version 1.0.0
New package includes following,
  1. Default UI language changed to English.
  2. Other individual packages(latest A75 Stock baseband, camera, boot, logo).
  3. build.prop optimizations.
  4. init.d scripts optimizations.
  5. Phone brand details are changed to Micromax A75.
  6. AnTuTu benchmark after fresh install (without overclocking) is 3510 (screenshot is attached).

Requirments:-
1. Micromax A75 New Version ROM as base ROM (Rooted)
2. ClockworkMOD(CWM) recovery by Varun
3. (optional) Full backup of current ROM by the recovery (can use in case of update failure)

Installation:-
1. Download the zip from Download link
2. Copy it to SD card root folder
3. Reboot to CWM recovery
4. Install zip from SD card
5. Reboot

The version 2 users don't have to download this version. They just need to uninstall GO Contacts / dialer and need to install ADW Launcher from Google Playstore. The non-Indian users of Version 2, need to install just "Android Features Pack" for font support.

any bugs till now? will definitely like to install it after knowing.
currently using legoice II rom by sagarwep, brilliant one but the issue with keyboard and backlight is killing one.

@ninad even themes that has been made for samsung galaxy ace works in this
lewa face theme needs cm7 to work on all phones
lewa face themes are working in this rom
 
mindblowing, this is what I was looking for.
as u said, rich n easy.very smooth. today I think my phone is worth. and all the headache I took for rooting it.thanked a lot. totally glitchfree. no bug till now. I will recommend all users of a75 must use this

hey can u provide update or needs to be downloaded as whole version 1.1? and one more thing, try if u can add supercharger script v6 and 95 tweakz/ then it wyd b awesome.

Please do factory reset before installing new ROM, otherwise some applications might crash.

Back camera working fine. Front camera picture is being displayed rotated but while saving its saving properly

(front camera rotation problem is fixed now)

After the installation the system will have following characteristics. 143 MB internal storage free with 45 MB RAM available for applications. After SuperCharger execution it will be (67 MB)
 
Please run Supercharger already included in this ROM, to increase the performance of A75. This is required for only one time after the installation.

Multiple schemes (Multi-tasking Vs Performance Vs Balanced schemes) are available for Supercharger. User can configure his phone based up on his own personal requirements.

1. Run Terminal Emulator application (built in with the ROM)
2. Run the commands as shown in the attached screenshot.
3. You may need to select options from serious of multi-choice questions as per your requirement.
4. At the end it will ask you to restart. That's All :)
