Root LG Ally 2.2.1 Overclock Kernel?

Ok I know that but still in theory

What do you mean, in theory? There already is a way. It's called "Buy a new phone". That's the only way to get a new processor.

The Ally is a great phone when you consider that it is an entry level phone. In the same way that a Chevy Cobalt is a decent car, but it's not a Corvette. You would be a fool to expect a Cobalt to perform like a Vette, and the same holds true for expecting an Ally to perform like a higher level phone. You can only tweak it up so far.

Adobe requires u to have an arm v7 proccesser at minimum. The ally has an armv5. Incombatible

I have flash on my ally you must of passed the thread for it while digging this one from january Up id post a link but don't know how to do it on my phone.

So, what is the best ROM to run on the Ally?

Velocity?
I downloaded and paid for ROM Manger because someone said there was a different Android ROM for the Ally, but none showed up for me.

It is really weird how this thread on mine sank to the bottom then all of a sudden rose straight to the top. Just saying

Um right now the only official 2.2.1 ROM is Velocity 1.1 but there are Roms in beta

Hey, at least he didn't make a new thread. I hate seeing redundant threads like that.

Anyways, I believe frunisher is complete. It's a battery stablizing rom and looks pretty cool. Idk where to find it though.
