Help LG Ally comes preloaded with screen protector???

Umm...I just got this for my mom and there is definitely some sort of screen protector on it with a cut out for the proximity sensor. It is not the temp one either. It is perfectly installed like it was done by a machine. Does this make sense??
 
Sho is....keep it on as long as u can...all the ones I've seen just barely cover the actual screen.

yeah i initially felt the same way... the cost is in the shipping so each one costs $3.02. i bought i think 3 packs of em for like $10 and they cover the whole screen.

are they easy to put on with out getting bubbles and looking like crap?

they do include a cardboard tool and antistatic cloth which makes it easier but id buy 2 packs cuz i did mess up the first one by putting a big finger print on the inner side. also when you apply it try to match it up at the top so the back button is more responsive.

Ok cool. I bought some from the store and messed up to of them. It had a cardboard but I kept having bubbles, there was no antistatic cloth though.
 
Mine also came with screen protector pre-installed. Don't know if it was done by LG or store guys. It covers the whole screen area with round edges on top, bottom nicely and has the proximity sensor area cut out on upper right.
 
As others stated it does have a Screen Protector preloaded on it, i was reading somewhere that the phone operates much better without it...
there was a whole conversation about it, so i pulled it off and the screen seems more responsive.

I also researched what material the screen was made out of. the screen is made out of a product called Gorilla Glass.
