LG Ally upgrade?

Now this might be thought of as a Verizon question, but I wanted to ask Ally owners if they were already eligible for upgrades? I've only had mine since September, and when I went to pay my bill last night, the website said I was eligble for an upgrade. I understand that I was a new VZW customer in Sept, but it's not even been 18 months.

I got my Ally last July 1. I was eligible for an early upgrade several weeks ago. I ended up going with an Incredible 2.

Yeah they've really been pushing the "early upgrade" thing. I'm waiting for a device with a good keyboard that has the community support the Ally has. The Droid 3 looks promising if Motorola follows through with their promise to unlock bootloaders ...

my upgrade was ready on 8/28/11 but i dont know what to do or get.
Sucks that i have to wait till my mom takes me to the verizon store.
