Help LG Camera quality?

Im not certain about the update. Unfortunately i didnt keep any old photos. I dont think the noise is much worse the that on the admire and that has a good sensor. Its a mixed bag with this device with regards to hardware choice/ quality. Photos attached.

You may have a hardware fault. Ive had this problem before, it was brightness app related. Reflashing cleared it

My phone also takes poor pictures without lots of light. Mine also puts a yellow tint on low light pictures.

Same here - outdoor pics with natural lighting look good, but indoor pics tend to have a yellowish tint to them, even with good lighting and Flash enabled.

Indoor pics are also grainy.

Settings are as follows:

Flash: On
Brightness: +/- 0
Focus: Auto
Image Size: 5M (2560x1920)
Scene Mode: Normal
ISO: Auto
White Balance: Auto
Color Effect: None
Timer: Off
Geotagging: Off
Shutter Sound: Tone 1
Auto Review: On
Storage: Internal Storage

Any settings to fix or make indoor pics appear better?

A photographer friend of mine said most noise is an iso issue. I believe this is more to do with poor coding and choice of sensor.

Hey guys! I have a question! I bought my LG motion a month or so ago... when I bought it, the FIRST thing I did was root it!

However, as I began using the phone more often, I realized something...

The CAMERA quality is strange.. every picture I take is always kind of fuzzy. It's definitely NOT like the camera on the LG motion I tested out on the metro PCS store..

Here's an example of how the picture looks like on the stock camera app (with the highest resolution)

W/ HDR enabled..

Do you guys have any idea why it comes out so grainy?! Any fixes!?

ALSO, I'd appreciate it if you guys could upload/share a picture similar to mine from your cameras for comparison!

Thank you all! :D

My phone is unrooted and that's how pictures look indoors for me. Grainy, yellow, and ugly. I swear I think my old Huawei Ascend took better indoor shots.............anyways......outdoor shots are pretty good. The camera in general kind of sucks.

I did a little testing and setting the "White Balance" to "Fluorescent" on indoor shots results in more natural lighting, even though I'm not using Fluorescent light bulbs.

Unfortunately, after every shot the camera defaults back to "Auto" setting for "White Balance" resulting in yellowish tint to indoor pics using regular light bulbs and the LED Flash.

I wonder if there is a way to keep the White Balance menu set to "Fluorescent"

Feel free to give it a try and post your results.

My setting reverts back. Incandescents only came in the 2700k range, while florescents were from 2700-6500k, maybe there round the wrong way hence why the auto setting is not working. ill fiddle with it tonight and report back.

I have since tried it with 2700k lighting, setting it to incandescent produced the best result. Auto doesnt set to any of the four predefined options. This was with the flash off, if you add flash then you get a flash of 6500k light in the mix, making the incandescent option unsuitable.
