and this was where they left me hanging,so guys if you get a chance,flood their number about this update,i tried ;)

update on phone with lg,the young lady is telling me that the zve is the current update,and now looking into why i continue to get mess. to update,will post more after call,

she has stated im up to date and basically metro doesnt have the knowledge that some of us has updated from lg,com,that zve is the lastest and only update!!!!!!
 
that's metro's end glitching, not LG. You have to call metro support to let them know you manually upgraded via LG support tool. once you do that and they mark it in their database that you are on ZVE, I would think you wouldn't get anymore messages.

thats my theory at least.
 
I think we had enough of the update threads. Metro will send you the update, text you, call you even after you have updated already, to tell you that your phone needs to be updated. It does not mean you got the wrong update, or that the update at the store is different from the one on the lg website. All they're trying to accomplish is to be able to tell you when you go to the store bcz you have no 4G that they tried 3 different ways to deliver the news and that is your fault you didn't update.

Fellow forum users, stop freaking out. Update your darn esteem however way or via you prefer and ignore any other alert from metro
 
I too continue to get messages after updating. When I spoke to tech support, they wouldn't own up to the update being OTA or available through LG. But I am on ZVE, Prl 3035, #2 3.0.1...... B-)
 
thats all i was trying to show,metro and lg are nt connected so you will be on the call list if you did it from lg,plus hey gotta call these pep sometimes to see if there up to par,sometimes you gt a noob and has to gt a supervisor lol,i know its just a update not the end of the world lol
 
Everyone just unroot and the ota come threw or go metro, jus trying to make things betr us they are, im uprooting and let it happen lol the end or the mysterious update lol
