Does the music player already have an music eq like base booster etc or am I gonna have to download an app on the market for that?

The LGs have Dolby Mobile right? Go to your music player and select a track. You'll see 4 tabs at the top of the music player. Click the 3rd tab and that should be what you're looking for.

Its only for head phones Dolby surround I believe
